Enertech uses a highly skilled and qualified personnel who acquires new skills and qualifications during the years.
Our employees belong to the following categories:

  • Pipefitters: assigned to the prefabrication of customized pipes, to measures survey, to the reading of drawings/sketches, to the assembly of the lines;
  • Carpenters: specifically assigned to the construction of metallic carpentry, they have excellent knowledge of the drawing;
  • Welders: they are constantly updating and in possession of the welding certifications required for various activities (carpentry and pipes);
  • Mechanics: assigned to the assembly/disassembly/overhauling of machinery, motor components and pumps;
  • Fitters: assigned to the assembly/disassembly/overhauling of metallic devices and carpentry or to the ordinary maintenance of the plants (filters cleaning, valves replacement, etc).

Thanks to its personnel's skills and competence, Enertech can guarantee very high quality standards, our maintenance workers attend refresher courses constantly, not only on safety rules but also on the procedures to follow in order to complete an intervention in compliance with the deadlines and the required standards.

Welding certifications

All Enertech welders acquired the welding certifications necessary for procedures 135, 141 and 111, in compliance with UNI EN 287.1:2007 e EN ISO 9606-01:2013 regulations (IIS CERT certifying agency and RINA certifying agency).
The certifications are regularly updated in order to always guarantee a skilled and professional personnel, capable to execute all the required types of welding.

Welding procedures

The company is qualified for the execution of the welding procedures with materials P11, P22, P91, Carbon Steel and stainless Steel, as required by regulations UNI EN ISO 3581, UNI EN ISO 14343, UNI EN ISO 21952, UNI EN ISO 3580, UNI EN ISO 2560, UNI EN ISO 14341-A.


The main structural materials we use are: S275 and S355.
All the purchased materials are CE marked (steel complies with the harmonized standards: UNI EN 10025 for laminates, UNI EN 10210 for seamless pipes, UNI EN 10219-1 for welded pipes), internally encoded and their documentations is archived to ensure traceability.

PED practices

Enertech realizes pipelines or pressure vessels following PED practices.

The Pressure Equipment Directive, commonly known as PED, is a product directive (97/23/CE) adopted by the European Community and implemented in Italy with Legislative Decree n°93/2000.
Until 30th of May 2002 it was possible to apply the former Italian regulation, whereas since then, PED became binding thus replacing the former regulation.

It governs the design, the construction, the equipment and the secure installation of pressure devices.

The directive applies, for instance, to pipelines, hydraulic valves and vessels subjected to a gauge pressure greater than 0,5 bar, with the exclusion of machines.
Pressure equipment with pressure equal or less than 0,5 bar are therefore not subjected to the application of the directive. In case of a greater pressure level, it must be evaluated whether the equipment can be subjected to the application of the directive or not.

If the directive is to be applied, the pressure equipment must comply to the essential requirements which are set out in Annex I of the Directive, and must be provided with the CE marking and the notification number of the Notified Body.

The PED only governs the placement of said equipment on the Community market, but it does not provide directions as far as the management and maintenance are concerned. These requirements are defined by national regulations.

All the installations of pressure equipment subjected to the PED directive must be notified to ISPESL (D.M. N° 329/04)

Necessary steps in order to obtain the CE marking:

  • Ranking of the equipment according to the PED risk category
  • Structural calculations of the pressure using harmonized European standards
  • Checking of the manufacturing process (WPQ, WPS, WPAR, NDT controls e hydraulic test)
  • Drafting of the Technical Dossier
  • Drafting of the User and Maintenance Handbook
  • Marking and CE declaration of conformity

Safety and worksite procedures

Enertech has adapted to the Consolidated Safety Act n°81/2008 on workplace health and safety, by providing its personnel all the necessary tools in order to minimize the risk of accidents and to guarantee a high level of safety for its customers as well.
Enertech is also achieving the OHSAS 18001 certification, international standard for the Occupational Health and Safety Management system.

Meeting the customer's needs is one of the major aspects of our job.

After the first meeting with the customer, Enertech proceeds to the evaluations and assessments necessary to guarantee a quality service, within the deadlines and in compliance with the applicable regulations.

  • Inspection: we always carry out a preventive visit of the structure or the place where the work shall be performed, we take photographs and realize sketches of the structures and their peculiarities, in order to be able to detect any critical element and to evaluate the solutions needed.
  • Collection of documents: we collect all the documentation required for the execution of the work.
  • Technical overview of the activities to be performed: once the material has been collected and the methods of performance have been identified, we perform a technical overview of the whole work, in order to evaluate feasibility, time and the people who shall be involved.
  • Possible alternative solutions for the customer: if appropriate, we weigh up alternative solutions, this is why we always detect the best solutions in terms of time and costs.
  • Control plan for the activities to be performed: once the job order has been acquired, we develop a plan of control of the intervention, which shall be performed while the work is being executed, in order to be able to respect the established deadlines.
  • Order processing: the production order is delivered to the personnel responsible (pipefitter, carpenter, etc.) along with the documentation required for the execution. .
  • Control of the activities: planned controls are performed in order to verify the correctness and the quality of the work.
  • Respect of the deadlines: careful evaluations, controls and planning guarantee the respect of the deadlines established with the customer.
